Get the Facts

Faces:

Michael "Busted" - He is currently training to fly the F-15C. He started the program in March 2009 and will finish some time in October, or so they say. The program is very strenuous, time consuming, and challenging, but I think he's enjoying it all the same.

Lynn - I am an out of work physical therapist that takes care of the home. I have been calling this summer my "early retirement" and have actually really enjoyed having some down time! In addition to taking care of the dog and house, I am training for the Chicago Marathon on October 11th with my friend Jenny Boling. To follow our training, check out our training blog.

Mr. Rusty F. Bones - He is our 7 month old yellow lab puppy and is my best companion during the day. He loves to swim in the ocean, dig in the back yard, chew his toys to pieces, sleep on the couch, and bark at anyone who walks by the house. As of last week, he is now 63 pounds and counting!

Places:

We are currently living at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, FL (seen below) but will be moving soon to Kadena AB in Okinawa, Japan. This move will most likely create much of the subject matter for my upcoming posts! Already, most of my days are filled with preparation for the move across the pond and all the bureaucratic BS that goes along with it, thanks to the Air Force.
